The story of

Dr. LaLisa Morgan, LCSW

What made you want to write and publish 15 books?  At that time, what was really going through your head in order for you to want to do such a thing?

I never set out to write fifteen books. I first joined anthologies to just get started. I have participated in five of them. I now have ten personal books authored by me. I love to research and make observations for the people I work with in the differences in community. I also love to learn. Many times, a book was inspired by my clients, family, and work community. I want people to overcome the pain of their past, break generation curses, heal, and live vividly as your authentic self.

The Writing Process

Writing typically begins as a study. It may be Bible Study or research. Or a therapy session can spark a revelation. Relationships with people inspire me, and sometimes are God’s way of confirmation. God will speak and then I pray about the message God wants to deliver to HIS people. I am HIS scribe for the people. I plant seeds and water others. My hope is that my writing will lead HIS people to the promised land that only HE can show you.
